Buying Process

Buying a Home

Find a Realtor

The first step in your home buying journey is finding a trusted, experienced Realtor who understands your goals and the local market. A knowledgeable agent will guide you through every step and advocate for your best interests.

Get Pre-approved

Before you start shopping for homes, get pre-approved for a mortgage. This shows sellers you're serious and helps you understand how much home you can afford.

Search for Homes

With your Realtor and budget in place, it’s time to start house hunting! Browse listings, attend showings, and explore neighborhoods that align with your lifestyle and goals.

Make an Offer

Found "the one"? Your agent will help you make a competitive offer based on market conditions and the home’s value, increasing your chances of getting it accepted.

Home Inspection

After your offer is accepted, schedule a professional home inspection to ensure the property is in good condition and free from major issues.

Home Appraisal

Your lender will order an appraisal to confirm the home's value matches the loan amount. This protects both you and the lender from overpaying.

Final Walkthrough

Before closing, do a final walkthrough with your agent to ensure the home is in the expected condition and any agreed-upon repairs have been completed.

Closing

Time to seal the deal! At closing, you’ll sign paperwork, transfer funds, and officially become a homeowner.
